Bring a flagship holographic stage to premium retail, hospitality, and brand experience environments with the 27″ Hololuminescent™ Touch Display. Powered by Looking Glass light-field technology, this display creates the illusion of three-dimensional spatial presence from standard video — products, scenes, and brand content appear to float within the screen rather than on it, producing an “impossible” visual effect that captures attention in environments where conventional flat panels go unnoticed. The portrait-oriented 27.0″ LCD delivers full 4K UHD (2160×3840) resolution with 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors) and 178°/178° viewing angles, ensuring the dimensional effect remains crisp and color-accurate from every approach angle.

The 10-point projected capacitive touch panel uses 2.0 mm thermally strengthened cover glass with 7H surface hardness, IK08 impact protection, and faytech’s Clear Bond® optical bonding for clarity and durability in high-traffic public environments. At just 54 mm depth, the razor-thin aluminum chassis with reinforced glass can be installed via standard VESA 100×100 mounting or through a 6-clamp system designed for flush integration into retail furniture, kiosk shells, and custom display cases up to 5 mm wall thickness. IP65 front protection accommodates the dust and incidental moisture typical of retail and hospitality deployments. Connectivity includes HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, USB-B (touch return), 3× USB 2.0 for peripherals, and 3.5mm AUX audio output. CE and FCC certified.

The 27″ Hololuminescent™ Touch Display is the flagship of faytech's light-field holographic display line, bringing 4K UHD resolution and 10-bit color depth to the dimensional visualization category. Powered by Looking Glass light-field technology, the display creates the illusion of three-dimensional spatial presence from standard video sources — content does not just play on the screen but appears to occupy real volume within it. For brands competing for attention at retail counters, in flagship boutiques, on trade-show floors, or in premium hospitality lobbies, the visual effect is genuinely unfamiliar to most viewers — and unfamiliar is what makes people stop, look, and engage long enough to convert.

The display is built around a 27.0″ portrait-oriented LCD panel with 2160×3840 (4K UHD) native resolution — a meaningful upgrade over smaller-format Hololuminescent™ products. Brightness is rated at 500 cd/m², contrast ratio at 1,200:1, and the panel delivers 10-bit color depth supporting 1.07 billion colors with 178°/178° viewing angles. The 10-bit color palette and wide viewing angles matter materially for this product category: light-field rendering depends on accurate color reproduction across the entire viewing cone, and 10-bit color eliminates the banding artifacts that 8-bit panels produce in gradient-rich dimensional content. Refresh rate is 60 Hz with a 14 ms response time and 155.4 μm pixel pitch. The display is engineered for content that benefits from dimensional presentation: product showcases, brand films, scientific visualization, architectural walkthroughs, slow-pan ambient art. It is not optimized for fast-action content (live sports, gaming), where the response time and the light-field rendering pipeline are better suited to deliberate, designed content.

Touch input is handled by a 10-point projected capacitive multi-touch panel built on 2.0 mm thermally strengthened cover glass with several layers of protection appropriate for public-facing deployments: 7H surface hardness (resistant to scratching from keys, jewelry, and abrasion), IK08 impact protection (tolerates bumps and brushes typical of high-traffic placement), and AG (chemical etching) anti-glare surface treatment to control reflections from overhead retail lighting. faytech's Clear Bond® optical bonding eliminates the air gap between the touch sensor and the display panel — particularly critical for light-field displays, where any optical artifact between the viewer and the panel degrades the dimensional illusion that justifies the product's positioning.

The chassis is an aluminum-and-reinforced-glass enclosure finished in black, measuring 383 × 645 × 54 mm. At just 54 mm depth, the form factor is impressively thin for a display in this category — light-field and dimensional display technologies historically required significant chassis depth to accommodate their optical stacks, and this slim profile is what makes the unit suitable for retail-counter, wall-mounted, and integrated-furniture placement where bulkier displays cannot fit. IP65 front protection is meaningful for retail and hospitality environments: it protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, accommodating spilled drinks at café and bar counters, cleaning protocols in beauty retail, humidity in hospitality lobbies, and the general environmental stress of public placement. The back is rated IP40 for indoor protection.

Mounting is deliberately flexible to suit the integration patterns this product is purchased for. The display ships with standard VESA 100 × 100 mounting (M4 × 4) for wall, arm, and stand attachment — a step up from VESA 75 mounting found on smaller displays, supporting the heavier mounting hardware appropriate for 27″ retail and exhibition installations. Additionally, the chassis supports a 6-clamp installation system designed for flush integration into custom retail furniture, kiosk shells, museum display cases, and brand activation builds with wall thickness up to 5 mm. This dual-mount approach matters operationally: most experiential retail installations want the display to disappear into the architecture rather than read as a bolted-on screen, and the clamp system supports the cut-out installation methods that visual merchandisers and exhibit fabricators actually use in flagship retail environments.

The display has no built-in PC controller — content is driven by an external source connected via 1× HDMI 1.4 or 1× DisplayPort 1.2. Important integrator note: Hololuminescent™ light-field rendering at 4K resolution requires a capable external GPU and the appropriate Looking Glass software pipeline (Looking Glass Bridge, the Looking Glass SDK, or compatible content tooling). 4K light-field rendering is a meaningfully heavier workload than 1080p, so buyers should confirm their content-production workflow and the technical requirements of the Looking Glass platform with faytech and Looking Glass before deploying at scale. Conventional 2D video will display on the panel but will not produce the holographic effect; the Hololuminescent™ presentation requires content authored or processed for light-field rendering.

Audio and peripheral connectivity includes 1× USB-B (for touch return to the host PC), 3× USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals such as cameras, NFC readers, scanners, or media playback devices, and a 3.5mm AUX audio output for external speakers or sound systems. The display operates on 19.5V DC supplied by the included external 230W power adapter — substantially higher power capacity than the 16" model, supporting the larger panel and brighter rendering pipeline. Standby consumption is under 1 W. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C (narrower than typical industrial displays, appropriate to the climate-controlled indoor retail and exhibit environments this product is designed for). The display ships with CE and FCC certifications.

Important deployment note: the display is intended for indoor use and must be protected from direct sunlight, which can push the device beyond its specified storage and operating temperatures. Storefront window placement should include UV filtering or northern-exposure orientation. Operation outside specified temperature ranges is not covered by warranty.

Hypothetical Application Scenarios

Flagship Retail – Featured Product Centerpiece: Picture a luxury furniture showroom (as suggested by the datasheet's own product image of a Poppel armchair) where the season's featured piece is rendered as a dimensional, rotating presentation alongside the physical item. Customers see the chair's true form, fabric texture, and craftsmanship details at 4K resolution with 10-bit color accuracy — meaningful for upholstery, wood grain, and metallic finishes that 8-bit displays render imperfectly. Touching the screen reveals fabric and color options, dimensional drawings, and a "view in your room" AR launcher. The portrait orientation suits standing customer interaction at counter or wall placement.

Watch & Jewelry Boutiques – Hero Piece Showcases: Premium watchmakers and jewelers can present a flagship piece in dimensional form, showing the movement complications, the sweep of seconds hands, the inner workings invisible from outside the display case. The 4K resolution and 10-bit color render gold, platinum, and gemstones with the fidelity required to bridge the gap between catalog imagery and the physical presence customers travel to flagships to experience. The 7H surface hardness and IK08 rating accommodate the inevitable taps from watches and jewelry during interaction.

Automotive Showrooms – Vehicle Configurator & Component Display: Premium automotive brands can use the 27″ display at dealership reception desks or in brand-experience zones to render dimensional vehicle configurations: rotate the vehicle, change paint colors with real-time 10-bit color reproduction, explore interior trim packages, examine performance components in exploded view. The portrait orientation and 4K resolution render tall vehicle profiles (SUVs, trucks, performance coupes from elevated angles) at impressive scale. The IP65 front rating tolerates the inevitable cleaning protocols of dealership floors.

Luxury Hospitality – Lobby & Concierge Centerpieces: Boutique hotels, resort properties, and design-led hospitality brands can install the display as a lobby art-and-information piece at scale — rotating between hotel signature objects, wayfinding, restaurant features, spa offerings, and local recommendations. The IP65 front rating handles the inevitable champagne flute incident and regular cleaning protocols. The black aluminum chassis and razor-thin profile read as designer hardware rather than retail signage.

Real Estate, Architecture & Property Marketing: Premium real estate offices, architectural firms, and property developers can display dimensional renderings of properties, developments, or proposed builds — letting prospects rotate through views, floor levels, time-of-day lighting conditions, and interior configurations. The 4K resolution and 10-bit color reproduce architectural renderings at the fidelity these firms expect from their visualization investment. The 27″ size is appropriate for client-meeting tables and reception areas without dominating the space.

Museums & Cultural Institutions – Premium Object Visualization: Cultural institutions can use the display next to delicate or behind-glass artifacts to reveal what cannot be safely shown in person — the inside of an artifact, X-ray reconstructions, digital reconstruction of missing pieces, multilingual interpretation overlaid on dimensional renderings. The 10-bit color accuracy is meaningful for art and artifact reproduction where color fidelity is part of curatorial responsibility. The portrait orientation suits tall objects and standing visitor interaction.

Trade Shows & Brand Activations – Booth Centerpieces: Exhibitors at major industry events can use the 27″ display as the visual anchor of a booth, drawing foot traffic from across crowded hall floors. The dimensional effect creates the "what is that?" moment that converts walk-by into conversation. The 6-clamp mounting system supports flush integration into custom booth builds, and dual HDMI/DP inputs allow rapid switching between presentation, demo loop, and lead-capture content throughout the show day.

Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Scientific Showcases: Trade-show booths and corporate visitor centers for medical device manufacturers, pharma companies, and scientific instrument makers can display devices and molecular structures as dimensional holograms with overlaid clinical data, regulatory information, and mechanism-of-action animations. The visualization adds clinical and scientific credibility to product presentations that flat-panel video cannot match. 4K resolution renders the small details of medical instrumentation at the fidelity these audiences expect.

Premium Spirits, Wine & Cigar Retail: Distilleries, wineries, premium cigar retailers, and spirits brands can showcase rare or limited bottles as dimensional renderings while the touch screen tells the production story — terroir maps, barrel programs, master distiller interviews, age progression. The 10-bit color and 4K resolution render glass, liquid, and metallic label details with the fidelity that justifies premium pricing. The display transforms a stationary bottle on a shelf into an interactive storytelling moment.
