The 27″ Hololuminescent™ Touch Display is the flagship of faytech's light-field holographic display line, bringing 4K UHD resolution and 10-bit color depth to the dimensional visualization category. Powered by Looking Glass light-field technology, the display creates the illusion of three-dimensional spatial presence from standard video sources — content does not just play on the screen but appears to occupy real volume within it. For brands competing for attention at retail counters, in flagship boutiques, on trade-show floors, or in premium hospitality lobbies, the visual effect is genuinely unfamiliar to most viewers — and unfamiliar is what makes people stop, look, and engage long enough to convert.

The display is built around a 27.0″ portrait-oriented LCD panel with 2160×3840 (4K UHD) native resolution — a meaningful upgrade over smaller-format Hololuminescent™ products. Brightness is rated at 500 cd/m², contrast ratio at 1,200:1, and the panel delivers 10-bit color depth supporting 1.07 billion colors with 178°/178° viewing angles. The 10-bit color palette and wide viewing angles matter materially for this product category: light-field rendering depends on accurate color reproduction across the entire viewing cone, and 10-bit color eliminates the banding artifacts that 8-bit panels produce in gradient-rich dimensional content. Refresh rate is 60 Hz with a 14 ms response time and 155.4 μm pixel pitch. The display is engineered for content that benefits from dimensional presentation: product showcases, brand films, scientific visualization, architectural walkthroughs, slow-pan ambient art. It is not optimized for fast-action content (live sports, gaming), where the response time and the light-field rendering pipeline are better suited to deliberate, designed content.

Touch input is handled by a 10-point projected capacitive multi-touch panel built on 2.0 mm thermally strengthened cover glass with several layers of protection appropriate for public-facing deployments: 7H surface hardness (resistant to scratching from keys, jewelry, and abrasion), IK08 impact protection (tolerates bumps and brushes typical of high-traffic placement), and AG (chemical etching) anti-glare surface treatment to control reflections from overhead retail lighting. faytech's Clear Bond® optical bonding eliminates the air gap between the touch sensor and the display panel — particularly critical for light-field displays, where any optical artifact between the viewer and the panel degrades the dimensional illusion that justifies the product's positioning.

The chassis is an aluminum-and-reinforced-glass enclosure finished in black, measuring 383 × 645 × 54 mm. At just 54 mm depth, the form factor is impressively thin for a display in this category — light-field and dimensional display technologies historically required significant chassis depth to accommodate their optical stacks, and this slim profile is what makes the unit suitable for retail-counter, wall-mounted, and integrated-furniture placement where bulkier displays cannot fit. Important integrator note: Hololuminescent™ light-field rendering at 4K resolution requires a capable external GPU and the appropriate Looking Glass software pipeline (Looking Glass Bridge, the Looking Glass SDK, or compatible content tooling). 4K light-field rendering is a meaningfully heavier workload than 1080p, so buyers should confirm their content-production workflow and the technical requirements of the Looking Glass platform with faytech and Looking Glass before deploying at scale. Conventional 2D video will display on the panel but will not produce the holographic effect; the Hololuminescent™ presentation requires content authored or processed for light-field rendering.

Audio and peripheral connectivity includes 1× USB-B (for touch return to the host PC), 3× USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals such as cameras, NFC readers, scanners, or media playback devices, and a 3.5mm AUX audio output for external speakers or sound systems. The display operates on 19.5V DC supplied by the included external 230W power adapter — substantially higher power capacity than the 16" model, supporting the larger panel and brighter rendering pipeline. Standby consumption is under 1 W. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C (narrower than typical industrial displays, appropriate to the climate-controlled indoor retail and exhibit environments this product is designed for). The display ships with CE and FCC certifications.

Important deployment note: the display is intended for indoor use and must be protected from direct sunlight, which can push the device beyond its specified storage and operating temperatures. Storefront window placement should include UV filtering or northern-exposure orientation. Operation outside specified temperature ranges is not covered by warranty.
