Deploy versatile self-service with the 21.5″ ARM Touch Kiosk RK3576 — engineered for POS, digital signage, wayfinding, and information-display applications across retail, hospitality, transit, and corporate environments. The 21.5″ Full HD display delivers 500 cd/m² brightness with 178°/178° viewing angles, supporting semi-outdoor and bright indoor placement where standard 250-nit signage washes out. The 10-point projected capacitive touch panel uses 2.0 mm thermally strengthened cover glass with AG anti-glare, IK08 impact protection, and faytech’s Clear Bond® optical bonding.
The rubber-frame sealed display provides IP65 front protection for dust, water spray, and cleaning protocols typical of QSR, retail, and transit environments. The kiosk supports optional peripherals tailored to specific deployment needs: a POS P300 module (custom upon request) for integrated payment processing, a KP-80A receipt printer for transaction printing, a 4G router for cellular connectivity independent of facility networks, and custom AI microphone and loudspeaker options for organizations adding voice interaction. Powered by a Rockchip RK3576 processor with 4 GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC, and Android 14. CE and FCC compliant, free-standing on a stable base.
The 21.5″ ARM Touch Kiosk RK3576 is a versatile, deployment-ready self-service kiosk engineered for the broad set of retail, hospitality, transit, healthcare, and corporate applications that need a reliable interactive display without the cost or complexity of an AI-first platform. For information display, digital signage, wayfinding, POS integration, and standard touch-driven self-service, this kiosk delivers high-brightness 21.5″ Full HD output, durable semi-outdoor environmental tolerance, and a flexible peripheral ecosystem — at a price point and configuration appropriate to high-volume rollouts.
The compute platform is built around the Rockchip RK3576 — a modern ARM SoC pairing a quad-core Cortex-A72 cluster with a quad-core Cortex-A53 cluster, supported by a Mali G52 MC3 GPU and a 6.0 TOPS NPU. While the NPU is not used as aggressively in this configuration as in the Napster AI variant, it provides headroom for future AI integration: organizations can deploy now for traditional touch-driven workflows and add voice interaction, computer vision, or recommendation engines later through optional custom AI peripheral builds. With 4 GB DDR RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage running Android 14, the platform supports standard kiosk software, content management systems, POS integrations, and the third-party Android applications that retail and hospitality operations standardize on.
The 21.5″ display delivers 1920×1080 Full HD resolution across a 476.1 × 267.8 mm active area, with 500 cd/m² brightness — substantially brighter than typical 250–300 nit consumer displays. This brightness rating is what enables semi-outdoor and bright-indoor placement: covered drive-through lanes, train station platforms, partially-shaded outdoor retail, hotel forecourts, and indoor environments with significant ambient light from glass facades. The 178°/178° viewing angles ensure the display remains legible from approaching foot or vehicle traffic, and the LED backlight is rated for 30,000-hour lifetime appropriate to continuous commercial operation.
Touch interaction uses a 10-point projected capacitive multi-touch panel on 2.0 mm thermally strengthened cover glass with AG (anti-glare) surface treatment and IK08 impact protection. faytech's Clear Bond® optical bonding eliminates the air gap between touch sensor and LCD panel, reducing internal reflections (critical at 500 nits where reflections become more visible), improving contrast under bright conditions, and increasing mechanical durability against the inevitable bumps of public placement. The Ilitek 2510P touch controller communicates over USB for broad OS compatibility.
The kiosk's chassis is engineered for environmental tolerance: a zinc-plated sheet frame with aluminum display housing, finished in RAL9004 black powder coating. The rubber-frame sealed display achieves IP65 front protection, meaningful for any deployment where the kiosk encounters dust, water spray from cleaning protocols, occasional rain (under cover), or condensation — all common in QSR drive-throughs, transit platforms, garden centers, and outdoor retail. The back of the unit is rated IP40 for indoor-equivalent protection where the electronics-access side is housed against a wall or back-of-house area. Operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C with 10–90% humidity tolerance.
The optional peripheral ecosystem is what makes this kiosk particularly versatile for retail and POS deployments. Available peripherals include:
- POS P300 module (custom upon request): Integrated payment processing for retail point-of-sale, ordering, and self-checkout deployments. Custom configuration available to match the buyer's payment provider and certification requirements.
- KP-80A receipt printer: Reliable thermal receipt printing for transaction confirmation, order tickets, queue tickets, and proof-of-purchase. The 80mm-format printer is industry-standard and supports standard receipt paper rolls.
- 4G router: Cellular connectivity independent of facility Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. Particularly valuable for kiosk deployments where IT integration is slow, store networks are unreliable, or installations are in semi-outdoor and remote locations. SIM and cellular data plan are the buyer's responsibility.
- AI microphone & loudspeaker (custom build): Optional voice interaction peripherals for organizations that want to add AI-driven voice ordering or conversational interfaces to a traditional touch kiosk deployment. Custom build allows the audio system to be tuned to specific acoustic environments and integrated with the buyer's chosen voice AI platform.
This peripheral flexibility is what differentiates the standard kiosk from the Napster AI variant: rather than bundling a specific AI platform, the standard kiosk lets buyers configure the exact peripheral mix their deployment needs — POS-only for retail checkout, printer-only for ticket dispensing, 4G-only for connectivity, all four for full-featured self-service, or none for pure signage and wayfinding.
Connectivity is comprehensive and designed for real-world commercial deployment. Wired and wireless options include: dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2; Gigabit Ethernet via RJ45; 3× USB 2.0 ports (for connecting external peripherals like scanners, NFC readers, or cameras); 1× USB 3.0/OTG; HDMI 2.0 output (for slaving a secondary display); TF card slot; and Line-Out audio. Standard loudspeakers (2× 4Ω 2W) handle audio prompts, confirmation tones, and basic media playback for signage applications.
The kiosk is free-standing on a stable base, with overall dimensions of 360 × 360 × 1625.8 mm and a net weight of 25.0 kg. Internal cooling is handled by 2× 24V fans for thermal management. Power runs on 100–240V AC mains with ~60W operating consumption and under 1W in standby. The kiosk is CE and FCC compliant and ships with an AC cable and short instruction manual.
Intended use: Touchscreen kiosk for semi-outdoor and indoor use as information display, digital signage, wayfinding, POS, and similar applications. Protect from direct sunlight, which can push the device beyond specified storage and operating temperatures. Operation outside specified temperature ranges is not covered by warranty.
